About Ed Carreon, Industrial Photographer
Ed Carreon is an industrial photographer in San Diego with over 25 years of experience across several industrial sectors. Expertise in industrial photography is necessary to turn rough, dimly lit factories into meaningful images that complement brands. Ed collaborates with communications, marketing, and design teams to bring a mature perspective and seasoned skills to your photography projects.
He is one of the best industrial photographers in the USA and uses his storytelling skills to serve all his industrial clients, including engineering companies, warehouses, manufacturers, logistics, transportation, and aerospace companies. His interest in human ingenuity, science, and architecture fuels his ability to find beauty in labor and industry. He listens carefully to his clients before bringing their vision to life.
He began his career as a photojournalist, working for National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Newsweek, The New York Times, Fortune, and Life Magazine. There, he learned to adapt to and thrive in uncertain and difficult environments, such as shooting in industrial settings.
As a storyteller with considerable chops, Ed creates clean visual narratives of industrial settings by understanding his client’s needs and using his commercial and storytelling experience to create polished and cohesive photographs that illuminate specific aspects of industrial processes.
His photography projects cover half-day shoots for construction projects to elaborate multi-day productions highlighting industrial equipment for aerospace giants.
Ed Carreon is also part 107 certified as a remote pilot for drone photography and flies inside and outside of industrial buildings.
Additionally, when clients need a photographer with expertise in different kinds of photography, he has expertise in corporate portraiture and architectural photography. No need to hire multiple photographers because he is versatile. He can also recommend other industrial photographers or corporate event photographers of equal merit in different areas of the country.
We scale our fees to our clients’ needs and are competitive with other photographers of equal merit. Corporate photography process
Ed begins by listening to his client’s needs and asking questions that reflect his experience and demonstrate his understanding of the process. He usually proposes scouting locations to prepare for location photography and unexpected issues in the workflow. Additionally, he shoots to a laptop or iPad so his clients feel comfortable that they have the images they need.
After the shoot, we deliver an Adobe gallery of post-produced images for viewing, and delivery is usually through Dropbox or WeTransfer.
